The funds from this round will mainly be used for the construction of the laboratory and team building.
According to public information, Tushen Zhihe was established in 2023 and is a biotechnology company specializing in artificial intelligence protein design and manufacturing. It provides solutions and new products for the development of synthetic biology. The company has developed a protein design platform called ProteinEngine, which incorporates various self-developed AI models.
Tushen Zhihe introduced that their self-developed ProteinEngine platform is based on large language model technology and has developed an artificial protein design system. For example, in the modification of fluorescent proteins, Tushen Zhihe can use the ProteinEngine platform to complete the design of fluorescent proteins within a few hours. In addition, using AI technology to design proteins can reduce the cost from hundreds of thousands or even millions of yuan to thousands of yuan.
Currently, the company has established partnerships with several leading Chinese domestic and international enterprises and has completed product modifications in various areas, such as cytochrome P450 modification, key enzyme modification of vanillin, and key enzyme design of ergothioneine. These modifications have been applied in products such as food, cosmetics, and biopharmaceuticals.
