Chinese Dermatology-Grade Skincare Company Sets Sights on the Beijing Stock Exchange

Recently, CHAILEEDO learned that Juyou Bio-tech Co., Ltd. (“Juyou Bio-tech”) has officially launched the counseling process for a public offering of shares to unspecified qualified investors and listing on the Beijing Stock Exchange. This comes only four months after the company was listed on the New Third Board in September 2025.

Public information shows that Juyou Bio-tech was founded in 2019 and focuses on the research, production, and sales of biomedical materials, dermatology-grade skincare products, and bioactive raw materials. The company is a leading Chinese producer of recombinant mussel adhesive protein (MAP) skincare products and the first domestic enterprise to achieve mass production of recombinant MAP.

Currently, Juyou Bio-tech’s main revenue comes from two categories: medical dressing products (medical devices) and dermatology-grade skincare products (cosmetics). The company owns three main brands: “Zhanyan,” a repair brand specializing in skin concerns; “Zhanxiaoyan,” a dermatology-grade skincare brand for infants and young children; and “Defilin,” a bioactive complex acid brand.

According to previous announcements, Juyou Bio-tech generated revenues of RMB 486 million and RMB 597 million in 2023 and 2024, respectively, with net profits of RMB 68.48 million and RMB 73.50 million. Among these, the company’s dermatology-grade skincare products achieved revenues of RMB 145 million in 2023 and RMB 220 million in 2024, accounting for 29.92% and 36.89% of total revenue, respectively.

On the distribution side, Juyou Bio-tech employs multiple sales channels, including distribution, direct sales, and consignment, combined with online and offline marketing strategies. Its reach covers hospitals, beauty institutions, chain retail pharmacies, large supermarkets, and individual consumers. As of 2024, the company’s dermatology-grade skincare products have been distributed through over 1,400 hospital channels, more than 15,000 professional pharmacies, and over 5,100 cosmetic chain stores and other professional channels.
