Today (December 26), COSMAX Group announced its regular high-level personnel adjustments for 2025. This adjustment involves 30 senior executives across key areas such as representatives of major affiliated companies, R&D, production, marketing, and support departments.
Key personnel changes in the China region include the appointment of Lee Sang-in, the General Manager of COSMAX Guangzhou, as the General Manager of COSMAX China.
It is reported that President Lee Sang-in joined COSMAX in 1996 and previously served as the Head of Korea Sales Headquarters. Since 2017, he has been the General Manager of COSMAX Guangzhou, during which he successfully spearheaded large-scale collaborations with renowned Chinese brands such as “Perfect Diary,” contributing significantly to the growth of COSMAX’s performance in the region.
The role of General Manager of COSMAX Guangzhou will be taken over by Guksuyeon, Vice President and Head of the Sales Division at COSMAX China. Vice President Guksuyeon joined COSMAX in 1995 and has held roles in R&D, quality, and production departments. Since 2006, he has served as the Head of the Sales Division at COSMAX China.
As part of this adjustment, the group also announced a promotion list of 28 executives guided by principles of “strengthening future competitiveness” and “enhancing vitality and diversity.” Notably, Kim Seung-min, Head of the Management Department at COSMAX China, has been promoted from Executive Director to Vice President.
In R&I, to ensure global leadership in cutting-edge research and technological competitiveness, the group revealed 10 promotions. Among them, Kang Byeong-ha, Director of the Formulation Research Institute at COSMAX China, has been promoted to Executive Director.

Established in 2004, COSMAX China employs over 5,000 staff and operates four production bases in Shanghai and Guangzhou, with an annual production capacity of 1.53 billion units.
