Today, Coty Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Coty”) announced the appointment of Mathieu Dufresne as the General Manager of Coty China.
Mathieu Dufresne joined Coty in 2006 and has held positions in several key markets, including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Before being appointed as the General Manager of Coty China, Mathieu served as the General Manager of Coty France, where he led and accelerated business growth in the vibrant French beauty market and supported Coty’s dual listing on Euronext in France.
According to Coty, Mathieu Dufresne has deep expertise in the beauty industry, with extensive experience in developing various beauty categories such as fragrances, makeup, skincare, and body care across both mature and emerging markets. He has played a critical role in building Coty’s extensive brand portfolio and establishing strong relationships with licensing partners and fashion brands. With nearly 20 years of leadership experience in the beauty industry and a global perspective, Mathieu has been instrumental in driving growth and expansion for Coty in major beauty categories and key global markets.
Coty’s Chief Commercial Officer for Prestige Beauty, Caroline Andreotti, stated: “I am very pleased that he will be taking over as General Manager of Coty China.
