British haircare and scalp health brand Philip Kingsley has named Joseph Scott Grigsby as its new chief executive officer to support its next phase of global scaling. Grigsby joins the company this month from premium haircare brand Virtue, where he led international expansion efforts.
With more than 25 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, Grigsby brings extensive expertise in brand building, marketing, and innovation. His career includes leadership roles at Sephora EU and L’Oréal, as well as serving as a founding member of Estée Lauder’s EMEA Corporate Innovation team.
Anabel Kingsley, brand president and consultant trichologist, said the appointment marks a major step in strengthening the brand’s international presence. “Joseph brings exceptional leadership and experience in the global beauty and cosmetic industry, particularly in the hair category,” she commented. “His expertise in marketing, innovation, retail, and international expansion, combined with his passion for brand building, will be invaluable as we continue to scale globally.”
She added that the company remains committed to continuing the legacy of her father, Philip Kingsley, a pioneer in trichology and scalp health. “With Joseph at the helm, I’m confident we will accelerate our growth and further strengthen our position as leaders in trichology, bringing our proven solutions to even more people around the world.”
Grigsby expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating: “I am deeply honoured to lead such an iconic brand at this pivotal moment. Philip Kingsley has been a pioneer in the hair and scalp sector for over 60 years, consistently providing expertise, advice and solutions for our clients. As we continue to experience phenomenal growth in this category, our team remains committed to upholding the personal legacy of Philip Kingsley.”
