Recently, Honasa Consumer, the holding company of popular personal care brands such as Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, and Dr. Sheths, has announced a strategic acquisition of CosmoGenesis Labs, a renowned entity in the premium skincare solutions industry. CosmoGenesis, a sole proprietorship founded by Rohini Manoj in 2011. It is stated that over the years, it has developed more than 5,000 formulations, earning a reputation for its commitment to innovation and quality.
This acquisition marks a pivotal move for Honasa Consumer as it aims to enhance its research-driven innovation capabilities. By integrating CosmoGenesis’s extensive R&D expertise, particularly in natural and organic formulations, Honasa plans to stay at the forefront of the personal care industry in India.

According to Honasa Consumer’s recent financial report, the revenue for the fourth quarter of the 2024 fiscal year was INR 4.71 billion, marking a year-on-year growth of 21.5%. The company stated that the fourth quarter of the 2024 fiscal year achieved its highest quarterly profit ever, reaching INR 300 million.
