L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division, the leader in the beauty industry, is once again revolutionizing the way customers experience shopping by launching the Perfect Skin Expo, a metaverse showroom in partnership with Ubitus K.K. The virtual showroom will be available in Taiwan from August 30th to September 30th, 2023.
The Perfect Skin Expo aims to provide customers with an immersive and convenient virtual shopping experience. L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division brings together its brands, including La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, VICHY, and SkinCeuticals. Each brand’s showroom within the metaverse has a unique design theme that aligns with its image and values.
Customers visiting the metaverse showroom can navigate through the different showrooms, explore the products of their interest, and seamlessly make purchases through links to Taiwan’s main e-commerce platforms, momo, and Shopee. The metaverse showroom not only offers the convenience of shopping from anywhere and at any time but also provides extensive product information presented through various formats like pictures, videos, and 3-D presentations.
To make the metaverse shopping experience as realistic and engaging as possible, Ubitus leverages its cloud gaming technology, including advanced features like ray-tracing with minimal latency. This interactive technology enhances customer satisfaction, making online shopping feel more immersive and enjoyable.
Wesley Kuo, the CEO of Ubitus, expressed excitement about the collaboration with L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division, highlighting the combination of high-tech and beauty to create something truly exciting. Ubitus looks forward to introducing more innovative technologies in the future to further enhance the customer shopping experience for L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division’s brands.
