Augustinus Bader, the renowned beauty brand known for its innovative skincare products, has made a significant addition to its team by appointing Jérôme Pulis as the head of global brand marketing and communications. With extensive experience in the beauty and fashion industry, Pulis brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, which he will commence on Tuesday.
Prior to joining Augustinus Bader, Pulis held the position of director of international communications at Parfums Christian Dior from 2006 to 2022. After departing from Dior, he went on to establish the Biarritz International Film Festival – Nouvelles Vagues and founded his own agency, RE7. At Augustinus Bader, Pulis has been entrusted with the task of accelerating the brand’s globalization and reinforcing its position in the beauty and skincare market. His strategic expertise and industry insights will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of the brand. Despite his new role, Pulis will continue to serve as the pro bono president of the film festival he founded, showcasing his commitment to both the beauty industry and the arts.
Augustinus Bader, which achieved unicorn status in 2022 with a valuation of $1 billion, has garnered acclaim for its exceptional skincare offerings, including signature products like The Cream and The Rich Cream. The brand’s inception can be attributed to the collaboration between founder and CEO Charles Rosier, a finance professional, and Dr. Augustinus Bader, an esteemed expert in stem cell research and wound healing. Since its launch in 2018, the brand experienced rapid growth, tripling its sales to $70 million by 2020, even amidst the challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
