Recently, LVMH CEO and the world’s richest man, Bernard Arnault, announced that he has promoted his son Frédéric Arnault to Managing Director of the family holding company Financière Agache.
Frédéric Arnault, the fourth eldest of Arnault’s five children, has been serving as the CEO and chair of LVMH’s watches division. His promotion marks a strategic move within the Arnault family, as he also joined LVMH’s board in April 2024, alongside his brother Alexandre. This elevation reinforces the family’s deep involvement in the company’s leadership, with all five of Arnault’s children currently holding executive positions within LVMH.
At 29 years old, Frédéric replaces Nicolas Bazire at the helm of the company, which exerts significant influence over LVMH by controlling 42% of the French luxury goods conglomerate through its holding company, Christian Dior.
Bernard Arnault’s daughter, Delphine, was appointed CEO of Christian Dior last year, as part of a broader management reshuffle within the luxury empire. Other key appointments include Stéphane Rinderknech as CEO and chair of LVMH’s beauty division, overseeing prestigious brands such as Dior, Guerlain, and Kendo. Furthermore, the luxury beauty businesses Parfums Christian Dior and Guerlain welcomed new CEOs, with Veronique Courtois and Gabrielle Saint-Genis Rodriguez taking the helm, respectively.
