Recently, Marks & Spencer has appointed Paula Bricks as its new fashion, home and beauty (FH&B) retail director, further strengthening the retailer’s leadership team as it continues to revamp its offering across key categories. Bricks, who will officially take up the role in November, joins from Cos, where she spent nearly 19 years in various leadership positions, most recently serving as store experience director.
At Cos, Bricks focused on shaping immersive retail environments that supported the brand’s ambition to grow as a global force in accessible luxury fashion. Her experience in enhancing customer engagement and elevating in-store experiences aligns closely with Marks & Spencer’s ongoing strategy to modernize its stores and improve omnichannel integration.
According to report , Bricks’ appointment will play a pivotal role in driving growth within FH&B, particularly through elevating store experiences and optimizing the supply chain. She will report to John Lyttle, managing director of the division, as part of the company’s broader efforts to reshape its retail operations.
In parallel with Bricks’ arrival, other internal leadership changes are also set to take place within the FH&B division. Phil Lyons, currently head of operations, will transition to head of retail asset protection in January, while Andrew McCurry, the current holder of that position, will move into a new role as head of accuracy for food and FH&B.
The leadership reshuffle reflects Marks & Spencer’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its retail capabilities and positioning its fashion and beauty business for sustained growth.
