On February 20th, singer Beyoncé announced on social media the launch of her hair care brand, Cécred, with its first collection of eight products, including shampoo, scalp scrub, nourishing hair oil, and more. The prices range from $20 to $52, and the products are now available for purchase on the brand’s official website. It is worth noting that this marks Beyoncé’s first foray into the hair care industry.
Beyoncé stated that the creation of Cécred took several years. She emphasized the importance of meeting people’s needs for healthy hair care through scientific innovation and product performance. She said, “I want everyone to feel free and confident in expressing themselves through their hair in a comfortable way. That’s why I started with creating essentials for hair and scalp health. My vision is to become an inclusive force of excellence in the hair care industry while celebrating the beauty culture found globally and helping to dispel misconceptions about hair care.”
Grace Ray, CEO of Cécred, mentioned in an interview, “We focus on visible hair health and have laid a solid foundation with the collection we’re launching.
