Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty has joined hands with prominent beauty retailer Nykaa to introduce its range in the Indian beauty industry. Through this collaboration, Indian consumers can now access Fenty Beauty’s popular products such as the pro filt’r soft matte longwear foundation, killawatt freestyle highlighter, and gloss bomb universal lip luminizer on the Nykaa app starting March 7. These products will be available for purchase through Nykaa’s cross-border store, with a shipping charge of Rs 500 ($6).
Nykaa is a Mumbai-based Indian e-commerce company that specializes in selling beauty, wellness, and fashion items. It operates through its website, mobile application, and a network of more than 100 brick-and-mortar stores.
Rihanna said in a statement, “Fenty Beauty was created so that people everywhere would be included. Expanding to India is so exciting because the more people that can feel beautiful, recognized, and empowered, no matter their ethnicity, culture, skin tone or style the better.”
Nykaa Executive Director and Chief Executive Anchit Nayar expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “The brand’s ethos of diversity and inclusivity are a perfect fit for Nykaa’s mission of democratising beauty for all Indians.”
