Yesterday, The L’Occitane Group’s brand Sol de Janeiro has named Jordan Saxemard as its new Global Chief Marketing & Digital Officer, effective immediately. In his new role, the French-American executive will lead global brand and product marketing, communications, digital strategy, and consumer engagement, reporting directly to Heela Yang, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sol de Janeiro.
“As we enter our next chapter, I am excited to partner with Jordan to continue bringing our joyful, inclusive vision of beauty to more people around the world,” said Yang. “Jordan brings a rare mix of analytical rigor, creative vision, and global experience. His understanding of how culture, innovation, and community intersect will be instrumental as Sol de Janeiro continues its evolution as a global lifestyle brand rooted in joy.”
Saxemard joins the Brazilian-inspired beauty brand after holding senior leadership positions across beauty, luxury, and technology sectors. Most recently, he served as President for the Americas and EMEA at Dyson, where he led the company’s commercial and marketing transformation and helped drive the breakthrough success of the Dyson Airwrap, the top-selling hair-styling tool in the U.S.
Prior to Dyson, Saxemard spent over a decade at Coty Luxury, where he played a pivotal role in the turnaround and global expansion of Gucci Beauty. He spearheaded the revitalization of Gucci’s key fragrance lines, including Gucci Flora and Gucci Guilty, and led the relaunch of Gucci Makeup, while ensuring the continued success of Gucci Bloom.
His influence extended beyond Gucci, as he directed marketing and commercial strategies for several high-profile beauty brands, including Tiffany & Co., Chloé, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, and Philosophy Skincare, elevating their cultural relevance and driving strong commercial results.
With Saxemard’s strategic expertise and digital-first approach, Sol de Janeiro aims to strengthen its position as a global lifestyle and beauty brand, celebrated for its joyful spirit, inclusive values, and community-driven appeal.
