American cosmetics conglomerate Estée Lauder has appointed Dexter King as the Senior Vice President and Global General Manager of Tom Ford Beauty.
Having served nine years in the premium beauty brand, Dexter King’s most recent role was Senior Vice President, responsible for global marketing and strategy. In his new position, he will remain under the leadership of Guillaume Jesel, who serves as the President and CEO of Tom Ford and oversees luxury brand development.
In his new position, King will be responsible for enhancing the brand’s luxury image and overseeing its expansion into new geographic markets. Tom Ford Beauty holds significant importance for its parent company, the Estée Lauder Companies. In 2022, Estée Lauder invested $2.8 billion to acquire full ownership of the brand, securing its highly profitable beauty line.
“His profound understanding of luxury, the significance of nurturing relevant local aspiration, and his mastery of strategic growth opportunities in the luxury sector make Dexter King well-suited to lead the ongoing global dynamism of Tom Ford Beauty,” stated Guillaume Jesel in a press release.
