Francesca Raminella has been appointed as CEO of color cosmetics brands About-Face and AF94. With over 25 years of leadership and business experience in the beauty industry, she joins the company from Beauty By Imagination, where she served as CEO, overseeing growth and innovation across various hair care, tools, and accessory brands.
Raminella also brings extensive experience in color cosmetics, having held executive positions at Revlon. Her career includes roles in executive management, sales, operations, and marketing at prominent companies such as Procter & Gamble, L’Oréal USA, and GHD North America.
About-Face and AF94 are both founded by the American singer Halsey. In January 2021, Halsey collaborated with Hard Candy co-founders Jeanne Chavez and Dineh Mohajer to introduce About-Face. The brand debuted with a focus on colorful cosmetics, offering 40 different products. Following approximately 18 months of direct-to-consumer sales, About-Face expanded its distribution to Ulta Beauty in June 2022.
In June 2022, the musician launched her second color cosmetics brand AF94. AF94 offers a comprehensive makeup range spanning eyes, lips, cheeks, and body.
