Fendi Changes Leadership

On May 27, according to reports, LVMH Group recently announced the appointment of Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou (hereinafter referred to as “Pierre”) as the new CEO of its luxury brand Fendi. This appointment will take effect on June 1.

The reports indicate that Pierre currently serves as the General Manager of LVMH Fashion Group. While taking on the role of CEO at Fendi, he will continue to hold this position. Serge Brunschwig (hereinafter referred to as “Brunschwig”), who previously served as Fendi’s CEO, will take on a new role within LVMH.

Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH Group, expressed his gratitude for Brunschwig’s contributions, noting that since 2018, he has accompanied Fendi in achieving significant growth in performance.

The reports also pointed out that Pierre has served as the Executive Vice President and Head of Strategic Missions at Louis Vuitton since 2022, and he has been a key builder of the brand’s men’s business. Before joining Louis Vuitton in 2019, Pierre was the Global Brand President of L’Oréal Paris.

It is understood that Pierre took over Louis Vuitton’s men’s department in 2020, during which time he expanded the department’s business scale to 5 billion euros. Additionally, he has worked in various capacities at Louis Vuitton, including in women’s accessories, digital innovation, visual marketing, and communications.

According to publicly available information, Pierre joined L’Oréal Paris in 1996 and served as a product manager in Italy and France. He has also held positions as Global Vice President of L’Oréal’s skincare division and General Manager of the Consumer Products Division for North Asia.

Recently, Fendi has launched a new perfume for the first time in 14 years to celebrate the brand’s upcoming 100th anniversary in 2025. With the support of LVMH’s perfume division, Fendi will introduce a new perfume series ahead of time. This series aims to honor the company’s history and the key members of the Fendi family. Each perfume will be priced at 300 euros.

According to data disclosed by HSBC, Fendi is the fourth-largest fashion brand under LVMH Group, with revenue of approximately 2.4 billion euros in 2023 and an operating profit exceeding 500 million euros.
