On June 4th, it is reported that Fenty Beauty founder and pop singer Rihanna announced that Fenty Beauty will launch a haircare product line on the brand’s official website on June 13th, stating that the related products in this line are suitable for all hair types.
Public information shows that the Fenty Beauty makeup brand was established in 2017. The brand is dedicated to launching beauty products that are inclusive and meet diverse needs. It was the first brand to break the conventional foundation shade range. Fenty Hair will be the third subsidiary of Rihanna’s Fenty brand.
It is understood that as early as 2019, Fenty Beauty entered the markets of Hong Kong and Macau in China, and opened an overseas flagship store on the Tmall platform, later opening a flagship store on Douyin. In 2022, the brand expanded into eight African countries, including South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Namibia. On April 1st of this year, Fenty Beauty announced its official entry into the Sephora China market, marking the brand’s first entry into mainland China’s offline retail channels.
