Recently, Véronique Gautier, the global president of Armani Beauty at L’Oréal, has announced her departure from the role. Gautier took to LinkedIn to express her gratitude and excitement for the future. She also expressed her eagerness to give back, mentor, and invest in the industry she holds dear.
Having spent 13 years in the position at Armani and a total of 40 years in the beauty and luxury goods industries, Gautier reflected on her remarkable career journey. “Throughout my career, from Chanel beauty as a founding experience, Paco Rabanne at Puig, Cartier, Hermès parfums and Hermès leathergoods, JeanPaul Gaultier couture, up to Armani Beauty at L’Oréal, I have expressed what I cherish the most: revealing luxury brands and designers’ signature, driving growth and profitability by making them shine, creating aspirations and emotions through unique products, parti-pris, and innovative experiences,” she shared. Gautier emphasized that she had worked with passion, freedom, and trust, which were values she held dear.
Gautier also acknowledged the Armani fashion team, beauty ambassadors, L’Oréal executives, and perfumers with whom she had collaborated throughout her tenure. Gautier’s departure leaves a notable void in the luxury beauty industry, but her contributions and expertise will continue to resonate as she embarks on new endeavors.
