Kering, the luxury goods conglomerate, has named Thibault Tétrel as the sales director of Kering Beauty. Tétrel brings over twenty years of experience from his tenure at the global beauty leader, L’Oréal.
Thibault Tétrel joined L’Oréal in 2002, transitioning from his role as managing director of distribution for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at L’Oréal International. Before this, he worked at Moet Hennessy in the UK for three years.
During his time at L’Oréal, Tétrel served as the marketing director for L’Oréal Paris in India from 2008 to 2011. He later held positions as the general manager of the consumer products division for Lebanon and Jordan before assuming the role of general manager of travel retail in the Americas for Giorgio Armani brands and fragrance designers in 2014. Currently, he is responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of Kering Beauty.
Established in early 2023 under the leadership of Raffaella Cornaggia, formerly of Estée Lauder, Kering Beauty encompasses five brands: Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Pomellato, and Qeelin. Additionally, Creed, the Anglo-French house of exceptional perfumes, which Kering acquired in October 2023, is in the process of being integrated into Kering Beauty.
