Sébastien Tardif, the founder and CEO of Veil Cosmetics, has decided to step down from his position with the brand to pursue other artistic ventures within the beauty industry.
Established in 2012, Veil Cosmetics gained recognition for its “weightless” makeup products, with its Complexion Fix concealer treatment hybrid being the inaugural product. Presently, the brand offers a range of eight complexion-focused, multitasking products that have garnered a devoted following, particularly among high-profile clientele such as models and celebrities.
During his tenure, Tardif played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s mission, enhancing its creative vision, fostering influencer partnerships, and diversifying its product lineup. Under his leadership, Veil Cosmetics successfully launched major department stores across nine countries worldwide, including notable locations such as Henri Bendel in New York City, Beauty and the Boutique in the UK, and Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal, Canada, among others.
“Creating Veil Cosmetics from scratch and watching it thrive for the last twelve years is my proudest achievement,” said Tardif. “I am very excited to see how I will be able to use my creativity and business sense next, whether with other brands or another self-made project.”
