Yesterday, L’Oréal Groupe has appointed Christina (Tina) Fair as the new president of the Consumer Products Division (CPD) for the North America Zone. Fair succeeds Nathalie Gerschtein, who has decided to pursue new professional opportunities outside of the company.
In her new role, Fair will report directly to David Greenberg, CEO of L’Oréal USA and president of the North America Zone, as well as Alexis Perakis-Valat, president of the CPD for L’Oréal Groupe.
David Greenberg expressed his excitement about Fair’s appointment, highlighting her proven leadership skills and strategic vision. “I’m thrilled that Tina will now be taking the helm of our Consumer Products Division and our extraordinary portfolio of Consumer Division beauty brands, including L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier, Essie, and NYX Professional Makeup,” Greenberg said. “I have seen Tina step change every business she has run, as we have witnessed with the Dermatological Beauty Division under her leadership. Her bold decision-making and entrepreneurial mindset position her and the Division for continued success.”
Fair’s tenure at L’Oréal has been marked by remarkable achievements. Since 2020, she has served as the president of L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) in the North America Zone, where she oversaw a portfolio that includes CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals, Skinbetter Science, and Vichy. Under her leadership, LDB became the group’s third-largest division in the US, driving significant sales growth and expanding its market share.
Fair’s journey at L’Oréal began in 2008, where she held key leadership roles in the US Consumer Products Division, particularly with Garnier and Maybelline New York. In 2015, she transitioned to global marketing for SkinCeuticals and was later appointed as US general manager for the brand, further solidifying its position as a leader in professional skincare.
