Recently, L’Oréal India has appointed Jacques Lebel as its new Country Manager, effective from 1st October 2025, marking a significant leadership transition for the French beauty giant as it strengthens its focus on India’s burgeoning market. Jacques Lebel will succeed Aseem Kaushik, who will assume the newly created role of Chairman, L’Oréal India.
L’Oréal highlighted the strategic importance of these appointments in deepening its engagement in India, one of the fastest-growing beauty markets globally. Aseem Kaushik, who took over as Managing Director in January 2023 and has been with L’Oréal since 1995, will now concentrate on enhancing corporate reputation, managing public affairs, and driving corporate social responsibility initiatives across the country.
Jacques Lebel brings extensive experience to his new role, having previously served as General Manager of L’Oréal’s consumer products division in Mexico, where he significantly accelerated business growth. His background includes senior leadership positions at Procter & Gamble and AB InBev across Europe, India, the Middle East, and Africa.
“These appointments underscore L’Oréal’s commitment to sustainable success and its dedication to making a meaningful impact on India’s development,” the company stated.
