Recently, Vanita Sabnani Dalamal, Vice President of Transformation, Strategy, and Creative Lab at Puig, has been appointed the new Chairman of The Fragrance Foundation UK (TFFUK). With an impressive career spanning over 30 years, Sabnani Dalamal brings valuable expertise gained from her roles at Estée Lauder’s Tom Ford Beauty and Sotheby’s. Her extensive experience includes leading Puig’s global transformation hub, where she focused on accelerating innovation, enhancing culture and creativity, and driving forward-looking brand strategies.
The selection of Sabnani Dalamal as Chairman follows a thorough and highly competitive process. Annalise Fard, chair and head of the nominations committee, praised the calibre of candidates, noting that leaders across the fragrance industry were inspired by TFFUK’s progress and optimistic about its future trajectory. “The fragrance industry continues to strengthen its role in people’s lives – inspiring, uplifting, and engaging across all generations,” said Fard.
Sabnani Dalamal expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating, “I am honoured to join The Fragrance Foundation UK as Chairman. I look forward to working with the board and our members to further our transformational mission and contribute to the continued success and evolution of the fragrance industry.”
In addition to Sabnani Dalamal’s appointment, Jane Boardman, a strategic communications consultant and founding chair of the British Beauty Council, has been named Vice Chair. Boardman has served as a board member since 2015 and will support Sabnani Dalamal in her leadership role.
TFFUK, founded in 1949 in New York by leading fragrance houses such as Chanel, Coty, and Guerlain, is committed to advancing the fragrance industry through three key pillars: education, inspiration, and celebration. These pillars focus on promoting lifelong learning within the fragrance industry, showcasing diverse and innovative brands and trends, and honouring the creativity and diversity that drive the industry forward.
