Yesterday, Ulta Beauty announced that it has teamed up with Instacart to bring same-day delivery to its customers across the United States.
The partnership, announced on Wednesday, will allow shoppers to access Ulta’s extensive selection of cosmetics, fragrance, skincare, hair care, body care, and supplements from over 1400 stores nationwide through the Instacart app. Customers can place orders and enjoy fast delivery, often in as little as one hour, all while earning Ulta Beauty loyalty points.
“Our partnership with Ulta Beauty comes at a perfect time when millions of Instacart customers are setting new intentions, focusing on wellness, and envisioning aspirational versions of themselves,” said Blake Wallace, Senior Director of Retail Partnerships at Instacart. “With Ulta Beauty’s wide range of products now available on Instacart, we’re giving customers more selection, convenience, and beauty options in the New Year and beyond.”
Instacart, which launched in 2012 as a same-day grocery delivery service, has since expanded its offerings and become a significant player in the rapidly growing quick commerce (Q-commerce) sector.
The company now partners with over 1,500 retailers, ranging from national chains to local businesses, to provide a wide variety of products. In addition to its collaboration with Ulta, Instacart has also recently teamed up with The Home Depot for home improvement deliveries and UberEats for restaurant services, continuing to diversify its service offerings in 2024.
