On the evening of April 22nd, Shanghai Kaytune Industrial Co., Ltd (referred to as “Kay Tune”) released its performance report for the first quarter of 2023 and 2024. In 2023, the company achieved operating income of 638 million yuan ($88 million), a year-on-year decrease of 16.49%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 7.03 million yuan ($970,300), a year-on-year increase of 218.67%; overseas business revenue reached 65.643 million yuan ($9.06 million), accounting for 10.28% of the operating proportion, a significant increase of 203.22%.
According to the financial report, during the reporting period, Kay Tune undertook new projects from SEPHORA, DAPHNE.LAB, Bioderma, and others.
It is worth mentioning that in 2022, Kay Tune’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kaijin Advertising, promoted the first cross-border marketing between a2® and a high-end French cosmetics brand, achieving a combination of cross-brand and cross-platform CRM and e-commerce attempts.
In addition, in the first quarter of 2024, Kay Tune’s operating income was 103 million yuan ($14.22 million), a year-on-year decrease of 27.08%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 1.9116 million yuan ($263,800), a year-on-year increase of 42.65%.
