Yesterday, according to report, The Perfume Shop is set to unveil a new boutique store concept as part of its ongoing expansion in the UK, with a focus on making luxury and niche fragrances more accessible to a wider audience. The first two elevated retail spaces will open in Brent Cross Shopping Centre, London, and Lakeside Shopping Centre, Thurrock.
These new boutiques are designed to provide a premium shopping experience centred around high-quality and niche perfumes. Customers will be able to explore carefully curated fragrance collections in a setting that offers personalised service and an immersive scent discovery journey.
Among the luxury brands to be featured are Maison Margiela, Prada Infusions, Better World Fragrance House, and Laboratorio Olfattivo.
“The launch of our two Boutique Stores marks a pivotal moment for The Perfume Shop,” said managing director Gill Smith. “This concept is a bold step forward in our mission to bring the world of luxury and niche perfumes to a wider audience, while still delivering the expertise, accessibility, and service we’re known for.”
Smith added that consumer demand for more personalised and premium scent experiences is on the rise. “These new spaces allow them to truly explore and connect with perfume in a unique and elevated way. It is an exciting evolution for our business and one that we’re proud to lead as we continue to grow and innovate.”
Owned by AS Watson, The Perfume Shop operates over 200 stores across the UK and has recently reported record-breaking sales ahead of Mother’s Day—further reinforcing its position as a leading fragrance retailer.
