Today (June 13), CHAILEEDO learned that Intercos, a globally renowned cosmetics manufacturer, has announced a strategic partnership with Arcade Beauty, a beauty solutions provider. Concurrently, Arcade Beauty will be exiting its manufacturing operations in Suzhou.
According to public information, Arcade Beauty is headquartered in New York City, USA, and is a leading end-to-end beauty solutions provider globally. The company possesses over 30 cutting-edge technologies that provide solid support for its product line. Additionally, Arcade Beauty has established close partnerships with over 400 internationally renowned beauty brands and operates 11 facilities worldwide, showcasing significant market advantages.
It is understood that Intercos will take over the responsibility of manufacturing cosmetic samples previously produced at Arcade Beauty’s Suzhou facility. The machinery from Arcade Beauty’s China operations will be transferred to Intercos’ subsidiary, Interfill Shanghai Co., Ltd.
Notably, according to the terms of the agreement, Arcade Beauty will officially exit its manufacturing business in Suzhou by December 31, 2024. Arcade Beauty stated that this move aims to optimize the company’s operational efficiency and resource allocation, as part of its overall strategy to streamline operations and drive long-term growth.
Furthermore, Arcade Beauty will retain offices in Shanghai and Suzhou to support its local commercial sales and technical development teams for its Chinese clients and market needs.
Carl Allain, President and CEO of Arcade Beauty, stated that the agreement creates the necessary synergies, allowing Arcade Beauty to focus on innovation and provide greater value to both local and international clients.
Stephane Tsassis, CEO of Intercos China and Southeast Asia, remarked that through the collaboration with Arcade Beauty, Intercos will be able to offer more diversified and value-added services to its domestic and international clients.
