Yesterday, according to report, Chantecaille has appointed Tennille Kopiasz as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately. The Beiersdorf-owned luxury skincare and makeup brand, known for its botanical formulations and philanthropic mission, is entering a new chapter under her leadership.
Kopiasz most recently served as CEO of Blue Mistral, the Cornell Capital-backed portfolio housing Frédéric Fekkai’s namesake hair brand and Bastide. Prior to that, she spent years at LVMH, where she held senior roles including senior vice president of marketing at Dior North America and global chief marketing officer of Fresh.
“Tennille’s exceptional track record of leading, building and scaling beauty brands is exactly what Chantecaille needs in its new CEO to guide the brand into its next chapter,” said Oswald Barckhahn, Chantecaille’s executive board member at Beiersdorf, to whom Kopiasz will report. He emphasized her alignment with the brand’s luxury positioning and Beiersdorf’s broader skincare ambitions.
Beiersdorf acquired Chantecaille in 2021 in a deal reportedly valuing the company between $590 million and $690 million, with annual sales said to exceed $100 million. Today, its portfolio spans skincare and color cosmetics rooted in high-performance botanical ingredients.
“I’ve long admired Chantecaille as a brand with a strong heritage and meaningful philanthropy,” said Kopiasz. “It’s a true honor to work with this talented team to build on this legacy and continue to accelerate the business through elevated products and experiences, digital transformation and global growth.”
