According to recently released financial statements, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty experienced a significant increase in turnover, with a 38% surge to £310.30 million in 2022 compared to £224.85 million in the previous year.
The company attributed this growth to its strong performance in the UK market, which accounted for £260.39 million of the total turnover. Additionally, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty achieved substantial expansion in the European, Middle Eastern, and Australian markets through both physical retail and online channels.
The brand’s product offerings in the core categories of complexion, color, and skincare were highly successful, with notable product innovations such as the introduction of the new “Beautiful Skin” franchise, including foundation, concealer, and bronzer. The exceptional performance was driven by a combination of new launches and the continued success of established product franchises like Magic Cream, Airbrush Flawless Finish, and Pillow Talk. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty further enhanced its skincare range with the launch of the Collagen Superfusion Face Oil & Glow Toner.
To bolster brand authority and awareness, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty collaborated with prominent celebrity talent and supported product launches with major media campaigns and takeover events, creating brand awareness during significant commercial moments such as the Holiday Season, Eid, and Lunar New Year.
Digital innovation remained a strategic focus for the company, delivering compelling customer experiences through features like the Foundation Finder, which allows customers to find their foundation color match online. Shoppable masterclasses and virtual consultations were also introduced. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty delved deeper into the metaverse with its virtual store, incorporating breakthrough “Shop with Friends” functionality to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
