BGG, Chinese supplier of branded ingredients, has made a move in its global expansion efforts with the establishment of a new global headquarters in Switzerland. This move, forming part of a major restructuring plan, positions BGG World as a launchpad for the company’s international expansion, while maintaining its strong production and research and development roots in China.
Located in Basel, the BGG World headquarters will be led by the newly appointed CEO Jürgen Nelis, who brings a wealth of experience to drive the company’s global corporate strategy. Assisting him in this endeavor is Thomas Adler, who assumes the role of Global Commercial Director, tasked with spearheading BGG’s efforts in international markets.
Founded in 1995, BGG is said to specialize in producing and sourcing clinically reviewed ingredients for the dietary supplement, cosmetic, and food and beverage industries. For cosmetic ingredients, BGG’s products include ApplePhenon, an apple polyphenol; Astaxanthin AstaZine; Lingonberry Extract LingonMax and more.
The decision to open the BGG World headquarters marks an important milestone for the family-owned company based in Beijing. With over 25 years of continuous growth, BGG aims to deepen its relationships with international customers and partners through this transformative plan. By leveraging its extensive expertise and innovative product offerings, BGG seeks to further solidify its position in the global market.
The company plans to further expand its product range in the coming years, reinforcing its commitment to innovations in dietary supplements, cosmetics and more.
