Recently, CHAILEEDO discovered that Huiyuan’s Tmall flagship store has launched a product called “Huiyuan Wild Sea Buckthorn Brightening and Moisturizing Facial Mask” with a price of 59 yuan per box. It claims to use “sea buckthorn seed oil” as the core ingredient and promotes the concept of internal and external nourishment through research on cosmetics and food. It is worth noting that this is the third company to enter the crossover beauty industry this month, following Luzhou Laojiao and Hongxing Erke.
According to the National Medical Products Administration’s domestic general cosmetics filing platform, the “Huiyuan Wild Sea Buckthorn Brightening and Moisturizing Facial Mask” was first filed on November 23, 2023, with Guangzhou Beinuo Cosmetics Co., Ltd. as the filer.
Apart from this product, a search using the keyword “Huiyuan” on the cosmetics regulatory app by CHAILEEDO did not yield any other registered products. In other words, unlike Hongxing Erke and Luzhou Laojiao, who have launched multiple skincare products in their crossover ventures, Huiyuan has only released one facial mask. The customer service of Huiyuan’s Tmall flagship store expressed uncertainty about whether they will launch other categories of cosmetics in the future.
It is reported that the “Huiyuan Wild Sea Buckthorn Brightening and Moisturizing Facial Mask” has been available on Huiyuan’s Tmall and Douyin (TikTok) official flagship stores. As of the time of writing, the Douyin link for the product shows that it is out of stock and no longer available.
