Yesterday, according to report, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are officially entering the Indian market through a landmark partnership with Reliance Retail. The LVMH-owned beauty brand, founded by global icon Rihanna, will launch exclusively at Sephora India and Tira Beauty on August 7. The rollout will span both online channels and 50 physical locations across 16 cities.
Rihanna announced the news with a social media post on Instagram and X, writing, “INDIA, are you ready?”—a nod to the brand’s highly anticipated debut in one of the world’s fastest-growing beauty markets.
The launch follows an exclusive deal between Fenty and Reliance Retail, India’s largest retailer, which operates a diverse portfolio that includes both domestic and international brands. In a statement, Isha Ambani, director of Reliance Retail Ventures and founder of Tira Beauty, said the launch “underscores our commitment to making the world’s best global brands available to the Indian consumer.”
Fenty Beauty was previously accessible in India only via Nykaa’s Cross Border Store, where it quietly debuted in March 2024. However, the products later disappeared from the platform, prompting speculation about the brand’s next move—now revealed as a full-scale, on-the-ground expansion through Reliance’s network.
