Jean-Christophe Jourde, previously associated with Estée Lauder, has assumed the role of CEO at L:A Bruket, a Swedish beauty brand. He succeeds Stanislas Le Bert, who served as the head of L:A Bruket since 2019.
Jourde brings with him extensive experience from his nearly 15-year tenure at Estée Lauder. He initially joined the American cosmetics group in 2004 as the Managing Director for Estée Lauder, Aramis, and Tom Ford brands in Germany. From 2015 to 2020, Jourde held the position of President of Estée Lauder France, North Africa, and Oceania. Since 2020, he has been serving as the Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa for the Clinique brand, while also overseeing Estée Lauder Group’s eco-responsibility and corporate citizenship activities. Jourde’s career began at L’Oréal in 1998.
Experienced Capital Partners has held a majority stake in L:A Bruket since 2019. The premium beauty brand, founded in 2008 by Swedish entrepreneurs Monica Kylén and Mats Johansson, offers natural and organic skincare products inspired by the west coast of Sweden. It encompasses a range of products for face, body, hair, and home.
L:A Bruket has a presence in France through two boutiques in Paris and a 25-square-meter corner at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. The brand also operates three shops in Sweden and one in Germany. Under the leadership of Stanislas Le Bert, L:A Bruket expanded its footprint in Asia and currently has approximately ten shops in countries like South Korea.
While L:A Bruket has not disclosed its sales figures, it is recognized as one of the fast-growing brands within Experienced Capital Partners’ portfolio. The investment firm also holds stakes in beauty brand Oh My Cream!, fashion brand Sessùn, and Le Slip Français.
