Recently, Galderma announce the appointment of Stefania Fabiano as the new Managing Director for Italy and Head of Southern Europe (Iberia and France).
It is stated that Stefania Fabiano, a graduate in Economics and Commerce from Bocconi University in Milan. With 25 years of professional experience at L’Oréal, Stefania has held significant strategic positions both in Italy and other countries. She has served as Brand Director for L’Oréal Paris in Italy, Worldwide General Manager for Travel Retail in the Consumer Division, and for five years, she held the role of General Manager for L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty. During her tenure, Stefania’s vision and determination led to a remarkable turnaround for brands such as La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Vichy, and Skinceuticals.
“I am thrilled to accept this challenge at Galderma because I strongly believe that Galderma’s sense of purpose is unique, distinctive, and highly inclusive: Advancing Dermatology for every skin story,” commented Stefania Fabiano on her new role.
Galderma reports record net sales exceeding $4 billion in 2023, marking an 8.5% year-on-year increase when adjusted for currency fluctuations.
Galderma, supported by private equity firm EQT (EQTAB.ST), is gearing up to launch an initial public offering (IPO) as early as next month, according to reports. The company initiated preparations for an IPO over two years ago but had to delay due to unfavorable equity market conditions.
If the IPO proceeds as planned, it could be one of the largest in Europe in 2024, with sources estimating the company’s value to be around $20 billion.
