Kering Beauté, a prominent player in the luxury beauty industry, has appointed Alexandre Choueiri as the president and chief executive officer for the Americas. This decision solidifies Kering Beauté’s dedication to the beauty market in the region and highlights their commitment to expanding their presence in the Americas.
Alexandre Choueiri brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, having spent over two decades at L’Oréal, one of the world’s leading beauty companies. Choueiri’s most recent position was as the global brand president of Ralph Lauren fragrances, where he showcased his exceptional leadership skills and deep understanding of the industry.
Choueiri’s journey in the beauty world began in June 2000 when he joined L’Oréal Italy, starting his career with Lancôme. He then served as the marketing director at Helena Rubinstein for four years before assuming the role of general manager for designer brands and Kiehl’s in Australia from 2006 to 2008. Returning to Lancôme in 2008, Choueiri took on the position of general manager for the UK and Ireland, where he continued to drive growth and innovation until 2012.
In 2012, Choueiri transitioned to the IDC, a specialized group within L’Oréal Luxe Division at L’Oréal USA, focusing on luxury fragrance and beauty brands. As the general manager, he oversaw prestigious brands such as Armani Beauty, YSL Beauté, and all L’Oréal Designer fragrances in the United States. Eventually, he ascended to the position of IDC President, further showcasing his exceptional leadership capabilities.
