Brazilian skincare brand Sol de Janeiro is venturing into the sun care market and has teamed up with influencer Sofia Richie Grainge to endorse its new line. The American model will be promoting the Rio Radiance SPF 50 Sunscreen collection and the corresponding ‘Sunscreen Worthy of Your Skin’ campaign.
The goal of this multimedia campaign and product range is to cater to various sun protection needs, according to a statement from the brand.
Consisting of three products, the Rio Radiance SPF 50 Sunscreen collection includes the Rio Radiance SPF 50 Body Lotion, Rio Radiance SPF 50 Body Spray, and Rio Radiance SPF 50 Body Oil.
The Rio Radiance SPF 50 Sunscreen collection launches in the UK via e-tailer Cult Beauty on 19 April.
Sol de Janeiro, famous for its Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, has entered the sunscreen market to mark a “new chapter for our brand,” as stated by CEO and co-founder Heela Yang.
Yang emphasized that the launch emphasizes the importance of providing sunscreen that not only shields and hydrates the skin but also delivers an overall radiant glow for everyone.
“I’m thrilled to partner with Sol de Janeiro for their ‘Sunscreen Worthy of Your Skin’ campaign,” says Sofia Richie Grainge. “Working with the brand feels natural to me as Sol de Janeiro’s mission of self-celebration aligns with what I share with my community. I love how the campaign and the Rio Radiance SPF 50 collection promote both skin protection and beauty.”
