Yesterday, according to report, L’Oréal Paris has announced the appointment of Laetitia Toupet-Delon as its new global brand president. She will officially step into the role this summer, succeeding Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, who has been named L’Oréal Group’s first chief innovation and prospective officer, a newly established position set to begin on July 1.
Toupet-Delon brings a wealth of experience to the role. Since 2023, she has served as global brands general manager of L’Oréal’s Dermatological Beauty Division, overseeing powerhouse brands such as La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Vichy, SkinCeuticals, and Skinbetter Science. Her leadership track record includes eight years as global brand president of La Roche-Posay, during which time she steered the brand back to its medical roots and solidified its position as the leading dermocosmetic brand recommended by dermatologists worldwide. Under her guidance, La Roche-Posay also crossed the billion-dollar sales threshold.
Toupet-Delon’s journey with L’Oréal began in 1998 at L’Oréal Paris, where she started her career in international marketing for skin care and makeup. Since then, she has held key roles across several divisions and brands, including Active Cosmetics, Sanoflore, Vichy, and Garnier. Her return to L’Oréal Paris marks a full-circle moment as she prepares to lead the brand into its next chapter.
According to the financial report, in the first quarter of this year, L’Oréal’s sales increased by 3.5% year-over-year to €11.73 billion. The Consumer Products Division grew by 2.3% year-over-year, with strong performances among global brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, and NYX Professional Makeup.
