According to the official website of French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, its new beauty line La Beauté Louis Vuitton will officially launch on August 25. Previous reports indicate that the initial collection includes 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and 8 eyeshadow palettes.
Louis Vuitton has appointed celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath as Creative Director of Beauty, aiming to ensure the line’s prestige and product authority. For this beauty launch, Louis Vuitton will retain full control over production and distribute the products exclusively through its global network of directly operated stores. However, the brand plans to gradually expand distribution channels, with the first wave of products to be available in 116 stores during the first year.
Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, stated: “La Beauté Louis Vuitton is a natural extension of the brand’s business, underpinned by our relentless pursuit of quality, formulation, and innovation. By entering this new category, we hope to deliver a meaningful and joyful experience for our clients, while continuing to showcase the brand’s creativity and timeless heritage.”
According to LVMH’s latest financial report, the group recorded €39.8 billion in revenue for the first half of 2025. Revenue from the Perfumes & Cosmetics segment reached €4.08 billion, showing a slight year-on-year decline of 1%.
