The Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) has named David Greenberg, who currently holds the positions of CEO of L’Oréal USA and President of the North America Zone, as its new board chair, starting May 1, 2024.
With over three decades of experience at L’Oréal, David Greenberg has held diverse leadership positions across various markets, divisions, and brands. Before becoming CEO of L’Oréal USA, Greenberg spearheaded significant growth and business model enhancements within the Professional Products Division in the U.S. and Canada.
PCPC President and CEO Tom Myers commented: “David is a visionary industry leader whose profound understanding of the beauty landscape and his commitment to innovation has driven substantial growth in every role he has held. His transformative strategies, coupled with a strong focus on consumer-centricity and people development, have been instrumental in his leadership at L’Oréal USA. We are thrilled that in his new Board role, he will help us continue to navigate the evolving market dynamics and advocate for the beauty and personal care sector.”
PCPC stated that Greenberg’s appointment signifies a noteworthy moment in its journey, given his extensive tenure as vice chair on the board, during which he played a crucial role in advocating for the landmark passage of the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022. Going forward, Greenberg will pivot towards advocating for the fundamental importance of beauty within society at large.
