The Procter & Gamble Company has announced the appointment of Neal Reed as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of P&G Australia and New Zealand. Reed will be taking over from Kumar Venkatasubramanian, who will be returning to India to assume the leadership of P&G’s business there.
P&G stated that during his tenure as Managing Director, Kumar Venkatasubramanian achieved significant milestones for P&G Australia and New Zealand, delivering record metrics, fostering category growth, and establishing strong partnerships with retailers. One notable initiative was P&G ANZ’s partnership with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
Neal Reed brings with him an impressive track record, having joined P&G over 28 years ago. He began his career as an Account Representative in the UK and subsequently held various Sales assignments across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa over a span of 14 years. Reed’s leadership was instrumental in driving success in Fabric Care Europe before he moved to Japan in 2016. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President of Oral Care, Greater China, he prioritized enhancing the consumer experience, resulting in continued business growth.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Reed stated, “I am excited for the opportunity to lead a dynamic ANZ team. I am passionate about inspiring and developing the organization through our integrated growth strategy.”
