Recently, Revolution Beauty appointed Erin Cast as its North America President. The beauty group is in its journey of recovery from the challenges of 2022 and early 2023, has been actively reshaping its management team.
In a statement, the company emphasized that this appointment signifies the growing importance of the North American market to Revolution Beauty’s ambitious growth plans. It also reflects the company’s commitment to bolstering its presence in the region through various channels.
Based in New York, Erin Cast will leverage the solid foundations that Revolution Beauty has established in the vast and lucrative markets of the United States and Canada. With over 25 years of experience spanning sales, marketing, general management, and board roles in beauty, food & beverage, and omnichannel retail, she brings a wealth of expertise to her new position.
Cast most recently held the position of General Manager at Royal Canin, a specialist in pet food and a part of the renowned food giant Mars. During her tenure, she demonstrated her leadership capabilities within a multinational organization, overseeing impressive sales growth of over 25% across Specialty Retail and Omnichannel.
Prior to her role at Royal Canin, Cast served as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Global Consumer Beauty at Coty. Her strategic direction played a pivotal role in the successful turnaround of the Cover Girl brand and driving accelerated growth for Sally Hansen.
Before that, she spent a decade at L’Oréal Consumer Beauty, based in New York, where she focused on cosmetics and skincare, further enriching her industry knowledge.
Lauren Brindley, CEO of Revolution Beauty, highlighted that North America is a priority market for the British company. While it has already established partnerships with leading beauty retailers, there is still significant potential for expansion as a relatively new brand in America. Brindley expressed confidence in Erin Cast’s extensive experience in the U.S. and global beauty industry, particularly in sales, marketing, and general management roles. She believes that Cast is the ideal leader to spearhead growth and drive revolutionary success in the region.
