Yesterday, Stila Cosmetics has announced the appointment of Steve Rosen as Chief Financial Officer and David Reece as Chief Operating Officer, marking a significant leadership shift for the California-based beauty brand. Both executives bring extensive industry expertise to their new roles as Stila continues its global expansion.
Rosen, a seasoned financial leader with over 30 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, previously served as CFO at ZO Skin Health, a Blackstone Private Equity portfolio company. Before that, he spent 22 years at Estée Lauder, where he held various finance and M&A roles, working with prestigious brands such as Crème de la Mer, Jo Malone, Aramis, Designer Fragrances, and Becca Cosmetics.
Reece, a veteran executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in beauty, health, and wellness, brings deep operational expertise spanning supply chain, logistics, and regulatory affairs. He has held key roles at Herbalife, Beachbody, and Beautycounter and most recently served as COO at Ritual.
“Steve and David are exceptional leaders with proven track records in the beauty and wellness industry, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the Stila team,” said Michelle Kluz, CEO of Stila. “Steve’s financial background and strategic insight, paired with David’s operational expertise and deep industry experience, will play an instrumental role as we continue to reinvigorate and expand Stila’s presence in the global market.”
The leadership changes come as Stila marks 31 years in business and continues to grow internationally. The brand recently expanded into India, launching in January through a partnership with beauty retailer Nykaa, which now offers a selection of Stila’s signature face products.
