Today, Oak Essentials, the natural skincare brand founded by Jenni Kayne, has secured its first round of dual funding from Silas Capital and Unilever Ventures. This fund will be used in Oak Essentials’ growth, supporting product development, enhanced marketing, and broader distribution. It is stated that the California-based beauty brand focused on luxurious, moisture-rich products that offer spa-like experiences in home.
Silas Capital, renowned for its strategic investments in emerging consumer brands, and Unilever Ventures, the venture arm of the global consumer goods giant, have come together to provide the funding. This partnership aligns with Oak Essentials’ mission of delivering effective, minimalist skincare and body care, emphasizing wellness and self-care.
Lauren Harris, CEO of Oak Essentials, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting the importance of this milestone for the brand. With a focus on product innovation, sustainability, and expanding distribution, the brand is poised to solidify its position in the prestige beauty market. Oak Essentials, now available in major retailers like Nordstrom and ShopBop, is set to nearly double its revenue this year.
The brand’s hero products include the Moisture Rich Balm and Ritual Oil and new launches such as the Renew Face Polish highlight Oak Essentials.
