Alibaba Launches New App for Cosmetics

Today, there are reports that Alibaba’s independent business group, Lingxi Games, has launched an e-commerce app called “Baogouhuishi” in the second half of this year, focusing on beauty shopping. According to the download page, the developer of “Baogouhuishi” is Shanghai Trading Cat Information Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Lingxi Games.

It is reported that the app features channels such as group-buying products, daily exclusives, limited-time discounts, and hot-selling items, with a focus on selling female cosmetics such as lipstick, foundation, and lipstick. In terms of brands, it includes international brands like Armani as well as Chinese brands like Florasis and Unny.

It is worth noting that this year, Douyin’s e-commerce platform has also chosen beauty as a key focus area and launched its own store called “Douyin E-commerce Self-Operated Beauty” in June.
