Chanel Beauty has announced the appointment of Nadège Winter as the director of ideation and creative influence strategies. Winter will be joining the influence and brand engagement department of Chanel Beauty, based in Paris.
Reporting to Velin, Winter will work closely with Chanel’s influence and brand engagement management team, as well as the artistic department, corporate teams, and regions. Prior to joining Chanel, Winter had an impressive career crafting communications for luxury, fashion, and cosmetics brands. She also established a creative influence strategy agency in New York and held positions at Calvin Klein and Colette, a renowned Paris concept store. Winter’s diverse experience and fresh perspective make her an ideal fit for this newly created role at Chanel Beauty.
Blandine Velin, the international head of influence and brand engagement at Chanel, expressed her excitement about Winter’s appointment. In a statement posted on Winter’s LinkedIn page, Velin highlighted the goal of the new unit, stating that it aims to spearhead Chanel fragrance and beauty influences by not only interpreting their dynamics but also anticipating, shaping, and accelerating them. Her responsibility include ideating strategic concepts for major upcoming influence programmes for the luxury brand, aimed at enriching its resonance with today’s consumers.
Winter, who began her role at Chanel in early September, will be responsible for leading the ideation and creative intelligence strategies team. Her role involves developing strategic concepts for major upcoming influence programs that aim to enrich the brand’s resonance with today’s culture and world. Additionally, Winter will create, lead, and grow an “influence council,” collaborating with internal and external partners worldwide.
