Beautycounter, the renowned clean beauty brand, has made a remarkable entry into the fine fragrance category, unveiling their exquisite line of clean eau de parfums.
True to their commitment to safety and transparency, Beautycounter stated that its ingredients have undergone screening against 23 human health and environmental endpoints. To ensure the utmost safety, Beautycounter’s in-house team collaborated with leading external toxicology firms to conduct thorough safety assessments on the fragrance ingredients.
Founded in 2013 and dedicated to clean beauty, Beautycounter is said to have reached $325 million in sales in its fifth year of existence, and is considered the fastest-growing brand in the pure beauty market, and has received follow-up coverage from top media outlets, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, totaling more than $106.9 million in financing.
The fine fragrances are available in two sizes: a convenient 9 mL bottle priced at $35 and a larger 50 mL bottle priced at $96.
Throughout the development journey, Beautycounter added 60 ingredients to their Never List, a comprehensive roster of substances they prohibit from their products. Methyl anthranilate, benzyl alcohol, dethyl phthalate, benzyl benzoate, styrene, BHT, coumarin, acetaldehyde, and phenethyl alcohol are among the substances that have been purposefully excluded from these fragrances.
