Yesterday, Galderma, a leader in dermatology, announced that it has inaugurated its new US headquarters in Miami, FL, marking a strategic move to centralize operations in a burgeoning hub for skincare and healthcare innovation. Situated in the vibrant Brickell neighborhood, the new headquarters is poised to accommodate approximately 150 employees, including key leadership roles, by 2028.
Miami’s rise as a premier market for consumer skincare and aesthetic treatments aligns perfectly with Galderma’s strategic goals for expanding its largest global region. CEO Flemming Ørnskov emphasized Miami’s dynamic environment, noting its synergy with Galderma’s innovative spirit and ambitious growth plans. The city’s reputation as a trendsetter in healthcare and its rapidly expanding community of healthcare professionals were pivotal factors in Galderma’s decision to establish its headquarters there.
Rodrick Miller, president and CEO of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, welcomed Galderma’s decision, highlighting Miami-Dade’s growing reputation in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. He underscored the positive impact of Galderma’s presence on the region’s innovation ecosystem.
In addition to Miami, Galderma will maintain strategic operations in Boston for its Therapeutic Dermatology and Research & Development divisions, Carlsbad, CA for its Alastin skincare brand, and Dallas, TX as another key US site. The company’s North America distribution center will remain in Fort Worth, TX.
In addition, Galderma has appointed Heather Wallace, a seasoned leader in dermatology and consumer health, as president of Galderma US, underscoring its commitment to leveraging top talent and operational excellence in its new Miami headquarters.
