Recently, Le Labo, a high-end fragrance brand under Estée Lauder, opened its first store in South China at MixC World in Shenzhen. The store, located on the first floor (L1), has been surrounded by barricades and will become Le Labo’s third store in mainland China.
In June of this year, Le Labo opened its first store in mainland China at Xintiandi in Shanghai, which also serves as its second global flagship store. On the opening day, the products nearly sold out. In August, Le Labo opened its second store in mainland China at Taikoo Hui in Shanghai. The opening of the Shenzhen MixC store marks the brand’s expansion beyond Shanghai in China.
According to Estée Lauder Group’s fiscal year 2023 financial report, the net sales of Le Labo’s fragrance business reached $2.512 billion. The report also stated that entering the Chinese market has further enhanced the value of the Le Labo fragrance brand, which has achieved double-digit growth.
