P&G-Owned Brand First Aid Beauty Recalls a Face Cream

Recently, The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified the recent recall of First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream Coconut Vanilla as a Class II recall, indicating the product poses a moderate risk with a low likelihood of serious adverse health consequences.

First Aid Beauty, a skin-care brand owned by Procter & Gamble, voluntarily recalled 2,756 jars of the product last month due to manufacturing deviations, as noted in the FDA’s Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. According to the FDA, the product was “inadvertently distributed” when it was intended for quarantine.

The recall affects 14-ounce jars of the Coconut Vanilla variant of Ultra Repair Cream, with lot numbers 24D44 and 24D45 and expiration dates of April 10, 2026, and April 11, 2026. These jars were sold exclusively on the brand’s website starting November 20, 2024. The company assured customers that the recalled product met quality standards and stated that it had already contacted affected customers and provided replacements.

In a statement on its website and an Instagram post, First Aid Beauty clarified that the recalled product was not intended for sale and reiterated its commitment to customer safety and satisfaction. The FDA has provided a link to the recall and directed any further inquiries to the company.
