Shiseido Americas announced the appointment of Emmie Salaj as the Chief Operating Officer for Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare. Currently serving as the General Manager of Tory Burch Beauty, Salaj will take on this new role while continuing her current responsibilities.
In her new position, Salaj will be responsible for overseeing the global business operations of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, further strengthening the brand’s growth and innovation strategy. Her extensive experience in marketing, product development, and creative activities, gained from her role as the General Manager of Tory Burch Beauty, will undoubtedly contribute to the success of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare.
Salaj has been an integral part of Shiseido Americas, having previously held key positions such as Global EVP for BareMinerals and BUXOM, where she led global business development. She also served as SVP for US Sales, marketing, and education for various global brands within the Shiseido portfolio. Prior to joining Shiseido Americas in 2015, Salaj held leadership roles in marketing and sales at LVMH and L’Oréal USA.
The appointment of Emmie Salaj comes after Shiseido Americas completed its acquisition of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare in February 2024. Salaj expressed her enthusiasm for joining the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare team, recognizing the potential for exponential growth and exciting milestones in skincare innovation. She is eager to collaborate with Carrie and Dennis Gross, the founders of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, as well as the entire team, to shape the brand’s future success.
